quick note while my daughter naps...
i got motivated to lose weight on october 1st solely because it was the beginning of a new month and a monday.
i weighed in at 215 even.
four days later and i'm down 8.8 pounds due to my morning jogs, counting my weight watcher points, and probably a lot of water loss added in there. the first week always yields the best results in any weight loss plan. well, that's just my opinion.
so i'm 206.2 today. not too shabby.
i'm taking pics but they are hideous, so i might just put them in later.

Optimus Prime
Okay, this is my first blog, and I will probably treat it like a diary of sorts. My titles are most likely gonna be entirely unrelated to the post because i'm random like that. I suck at punctuation, so please excuse the errors. There will be many.
A bit about myself: I'm a Christian, a wife, a new mommy, a teacher (not an English teacher okay), an introvert, a hiker (although i'm out of shape right now...i blame the baby!) and just a wacky person in general.
I'm guessing this blog will mostly be about my daughter, Acacia, and my quest to lose the baby weight that I have accumulated. I actually gained more weight in the four months after her birth than in my last trimester of pregnancy. Not to mention I had pretty much stopped working out after I got married almost two years ago. I got the ring, so why workout, right? WRONG! Making excuses to be lazy just made me feel miserable.
Here's my journey back to good health.
